Tesla Powerwall 3, Sigenergy, ESY, Goodwe ESA. Add to an existing solar system or pair with a new install — and claim the federal battery rebate while it lasts.
Without a battery, excess solar generation is exported to the grid for as little as 5c/kWh — while you draw back at night for 28–35c/kWh. A home battery stores that surplus and makes it available when you actually need it.
Our SAA-accredited Master Electricians assess your existing system, usage profile, and budget before recommending a battery. We only install proven brands, and every installation includes blackout protection setup and app configuration.
Federal STC Battery Rebate
Claim around 30% off your battery — before the rebate steps down.
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program expanded the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (STCs) to include eligible home batteries from 1 July 2025. For most households, that's thousands of dollars knocked straight off the upfront cost — applied at the point of sale, no paperwork on your end. The incentive value reduces each year through to 2030, so the earlier you install, the more you claim.

FAQ
Common questions
Can I add a battery to my existing solar system?
Yes — in most cases. We assess your existing inverter and switchboard to confirm compatibility. In some cases a hybrid inverter may need to be installed alongside the battery.
What size battery do I need?
For most households, a 10–14kWh battery covers overnight usage. We size the recommendation based on your actual consumption data, not a rule-of-thumb.
Will a battery work during a blackout?
Most batteries we install include blackout protection as standard. We configure this during installation and confirm it's working before we leave.
What government incentives are available for batteries?
The biggest one is the federal STC Battery Rebate (Cheaper Home Batteries Program), live since 1 July 2025 — typically around 30% off the upfront cost of an eligible install, applied straight to your quote. It can be stacked with Victoria's Solar Homes interest-free battery loan. The federal rebate steps down each year through to 2030, so it pays to move now. We handle all the paperwork.
